ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Raised in the atmosphere of musical discoveries of the 1960s and 1970s, the artist takes us on a journey through the world of rock, blues and jazz – genres that shaped her sensitivity and emotions. From her first thrills listening to Radio Luxembourg, through the excitement of concerts by legends, to her daily passion for painting – each work is a personal tribute to her idols and the music that has accompanied her throughout her life
The exhibition features 40 portraits – full of energy, emotion and sincere admiration for the work of artists such as Deep Purple, Rory Gallagher, Joe Cocker, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, The Animals and many others. Each painting is not only an artistic portrait, but above all a record of experiences – painted to the sounds of her favourite songs.
I love rock and all its varieties. While painting, I listen, sing, dance, and sometimes get angry when something doesn’t work out… But it is these emotions that make me want to live!’ says the artist.
The exhibition “My Musical Fascinations” is an opportunity not only to commune with art, but also to feel the atmosphere of past decades that have forever left their mark on the history of music.
