Exhibition of posters by Kaja Renkas

December 10, 2025 - January 31, 2026

We are delighted to invite you to an exhibition of posters by Kai Renkas at the Silesian Culture Centre in Nakło Śląskie. Thanks to the artist’s kindness, we had the honour of receiving a dozen or so of her works, which we are presenting in the spaces of the Palace, handing them over to our audience for careful viewing and interpretation.

Kaja Renkas is a recognised graphic designer and illustrator, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, an academic lecturer, an artist who moves freely between the classic poster workshop and contemporary media. In her work, she often uses the collage technique, building multi-layered, symbolic images in which the past dialogues with the present. Her works have been presented at numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad, and the artist herself is counted among the creators of the contemporary school of Polish poster art.

A special feature of the exhibition is a poster dedicated to the Silesian Culture Centre, designed especially for the Palace in Nakło Śląskie:

“Palace in Nakło Śląskie – Silesian heritage – a contemporary inspiration”.

This collectible poster is available for purchase in our shop.

We cordially invite you to visit the exhibition and personally encounter the work of Kaja Renkas — art that is reflective, non-obvious, and deeply rooted in dialogue with history.

We also encourage you to familiarise yourself with the artist’s work on the website.: http://www.kajarenkas.com/
