ABOUT THE EXHIBITIONS
The Polish word ‘relacja’ comes from the Latin word ‘relatio’, meaning: account, story or connection. The etymology of this word is consistent with its contemporary meanings, which refer both to the description of events and to the connections between people, things or ideas, as well as animals. Relationships between people can be based on friendship, empathy, or hostility, which is based on selfishness, lies and Machiavellianism. Sometimes a relationship can take the form of addiction to objects, i.e. syllogomania (pathological hoarding) and shopaholism. I invite you to watch the interpretation of ‘Relationships’.
