International Painting Plein-Air 2025 – a painting story about the heart of the Tarnogórski district
For the past few days, artists from the STAŚ Association of Silesian Artists, as well as invited guests from the partner district of Erlangen-Höchstadt (Germany) and the Ukraine, have been transferring what is most beautiful in our region onto canvas with extraordinary passion and sensitivity. Their work was inspired by the characteristic places and buildings of the Tarnogórski district – both those of historical significance and those that make up the everyday landscape of our small homeland.
The result of their work is a unique collection of paintings – full of colours, emotions and individual outlooks. The resulting works are not only artistic interpretations of space, but also specific testimonies of attachment to locality and admiration for Silesian heritage.
On 11 July 2025, a formal vernissage of works took place at the Palace in Nakło Śląskie, marking the culmination of the plein-air event. The meeting with the artists and their work attracted numerous lovers of art and culture, confirming that the need for beauty and experiencing artistic emotions together is still alive.
The exhibition can be seen until 20 July 2025. It is an excellent opportunity to see how diverse the views of places we know well can be – and to rediscover their charm.
