Leszek Lipecki – graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Faculty of Industrial Design. He obtained his diploma in 1992 under the supervision of Professor Marek Stańczyk. His passion for art manifests itself in various fields, encompassing painting, printmaking and illustration. He specialises in techniques such as oil, acrylic, watercolour and digital art. Having started his artistic career as a book illustrator, Leszek Lipecki quickly found his feet in the art space. Already during his studies, he began to explore painting inspired by Japanese art, Art Nouveau, Surrealism and Magic Realism.

His fascination with collecting dreams is reflected in his “Śnidła” project, in which each painting is inspired by an artist’s dream. Leszek Lipecki is fascinated by artists such as Jacek Malczewski, Alfons Mucha, Rene Magritte, Andrew Wyeth and Norman Rockwell. In his works, he tries to capture the phenomenon of the atmosphere of dreams, both personal ones and those from the messages of acquaintances, friends and people he has met. Collecting dreams, he records them on canvas creating unique compositions.
